Who Is a Candidate for EZ Gel Plasma Filler?
Almost everyone!
EZ Gel is generally safe unless you have active cancer or a known blood disorder (you’d already be aware). There isn’t enough data to support treatment during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
We also don’t have clear guidance if you’re currently on antibiotics or have recent/upcoming dental work — that decision is totally personal and something we can discuss.
Pre-Treatment:
Hydration is key — come WELL HYDRATED!
• Drink plenty of water (alkaline water for 2 days prior is a bonus)
• Avoid fatty meals before treatment to get the best blood sample
• Stop blood-thinning medications and supplements (like ASA, ibuprofen, etc.) 1 week prior, if approved by your prescriber
• Arrive with clean skin only — no makeup, moisturizer, or skincare
• Numbing cream may be applied, or numbing can be done at the injection entry site
Post-Treatment:
You can expect tenderness, redness, swelling (sometimes significant for a few days), and possible bruising. Everyone heals differently — I’ll do everything I can to minimize side effects, but no promises (bodies do their own thing!).
Swelling is the most common side effect. Personally, mine lasted a full 3 days after tear trough correction — so plan accordingly. If you have a big event coming up, make sure you’re okay with explaining how fabulous your new treatment is 😄
